“How you do anything
is how you do everything.”

— T. Harv Eker

+ More Olympic fever
in the next issue…

A one-on-one interview with Canadian World Champion figure skater Joannie Rochette as she prepares for the Olympics; and the behind-the-scenes team that helps to get our Olympic skaters up onto the podium.
Olympic fever!

Is it too early? It may be for the rest of Canada but beautiful British Columbia – especially Vancouver –
is definitely into the spirit for the 2010 Olympic Games. While visiting our most western province this summer, it’s obvious the Olympic buzz is everywhere. Vancouver looks even more fabulous! And we all can be proud of the soon-to-be completed Olympic village: its look, function and eco-friendly design.

Nathalie Lambert’s Olympic excitement is contagious; I’m bursting with pride and excitement too. Nathalie shares her secrets for winning gold and silver medals and how she applies them to everyday life. What a joy to interview her!

Nathalie exemplifies Eker’s words, and the theme infuses this issue. Women living with the debilitating effects of arthritis embody doing whatever it takes, in the ‘Arthritis Special’. And then there’s one woman’s tenacity to ensure Toronto children start each day with a healthy breakfast that led her company to participate in ‘Fuel for learning’.

‘The ride of a lifetime’ tells of Daniel Hurtubise, who did everything with verve and drive; putting
his dreams into action and accomplishing more
than most, while living with type 1 diabetes from
age 15. And our own Shannon MacDonald shares
the personal win of crossing the finish line of her first triathlon with 14 ‘tri mates’.

From the beauty and health tips to make you
look and feel better, to the human experiences and contributions of people living their best, I hope you find something to lift you to your next best.
