“You are responsible for your life.” — Oprah Winfrey |
|
The Oprah phenomenon
|
In Oprah’s final show, in one hour of gratitude, she shared the lessons and wisdom she gained over the past 25 years with her viewers. She called it her ‘love letter’ to everyone who watched the show, because it was the viewers she said, who made the show, not her. It was her platform of service, to present information to inspire and to create change for the people of the world. That she did, on various levels.
Well, we’re not the Oprah show, but if you’re reading this, you have an informative journey ahead full of tasty morsels that could change your life. Life Coach Lindsay shows how to create lasting change through ‘Conscious choices’ and, naturopath Dr. Joyce provides the support to successfully ‘butt out.’
In need of some belly-fat busting? Then on pg. 28 Dr. Natasha Turner gives you some unexpected advice. And if you want to maintain overall health, give Open Wide a read + unravel the mystery of supplements. If you or someone you love lives with arthritis, don’t miss the special on pg. 33.
Oprah talked a lot about ‘transforming lives.’ This important topic is highlighted on pg. 56. Where’s the fun? It’s in the riches of vacation adventures and play, on pgs. 49 and 62. Or, create it in your own back yard, pg. 70.
And then there’s the food! Turn on the grill for mouth-watering seafood pg. 74, or fill up the picnic basket with a tasty, hearty feast, pg. 78.
Turn up the heat of your life this summer. Do “what sparks the life in you, so you too can spark the world!”
