| Chicken Noodle Soup with Multigrain Buns
1/2 of a (2.2.lb or 1 kg) precooked roaster chicken from the grocery store 1 onion 2 stalks celery 2 large carrots 2 large cartons chicken broth (60 oz or 1.8L) 4 cups water 1 tsp prepared garlic 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp soy sauce 1/4 tsp celery salt 1/4 tsp poultry seasoning 1/4 tsp fresh ground pepper 1/4 tsp hot chili sauce 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Original Seasoning 2 -1/2 cups fusilli pasta
Serves 4-6
1. Remove meat from half the roaster chicken, chop or break into pieces and place in crockpot. 2. Chop onion finely, slice carrots and chop celery, adding to pot as you cut. 3. Add to pot in this order: chicken broth, water, garlic, Worcestershire, soy, celery salt, poultry seasoning, pepper, hot chili sauce and Mrs. Dash. Stir together and store overnight in the fridge. 4. In the morning, return centre pot with cover to the outer crock and set on low heat. Cook between 5-10 hours. When you get home, toss in the pasta and set your timer for 15 minutes! Serve with multigrain buns.
