1. How to Enter
Enter the Canadian Health & Lifestyle Subscription Cookbook contest by ordering, renewing, extending or giving a gift subscription to Canadian Health & Lifestyle. Your completed subscription will serve as your entry ballot. Please note entries are valid only when the subscription has been paid for in full. For entry without purchase, (one entry per person) entrants must send a 500-word essay on ‘What does health mean to me?’ in a postage paid envelope to: Canadian Health & Lifestyle Subscriber contest, 1 Greensboro Drive, suite 200, Toronto ON, M9W 1C8. Contest runs from November 2, 2011 and ends February 21, 2012 at midnight EST.
 
2. Prizes
You will have a chance to win one (1) 'Everyday Exotic, the cookbook' published by Whitecap Books. (approx. value $29.95 CAD)

3. Prize Selection
The prize will be drawn at Canadian Health & Lifestyle on February 28, 2012
4. Conditions
To enter and be eligible to win, you must be a resident of Canada*, of the age of majority in the province or territory where you reside. The Contest is not open to employees, contractors, representatives and those with whom they are domiciled of 1042676 Ontario Limited, Canadian Health & Lifestyle, Katz Group Canada Ltd. Contest Sponsors, or its affiliates advertising or promotional agencies, the independent judging body and those with whom they have domiciled and members of their respective immediate families. Donors of gift subscriptions will be entered in the contest, not the recipients of the gift. Subscription must be paid in full.

*Residents of Quebec are not eligible to enter this contest.

In order to win, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical, skill testing question administered by telephone or mail. Winner will be contacted by Canadian Health & Lifestyle to make arrangements for the awarding of their prize. The prize must be accepted as awarded and not transferable or extendible, nor redeemed for cash or combined with any other promotion. By entering, winner agrees to sign a standard release document, and consents to the possible use of name, address (city & province only), and photograph, without further compensation, in any publicity carried out by Canadian Health & Lifestyle.

The odds of being selected will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. All entries become the property of Canadian Health & Lifestyle, which assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries.

Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the contest organizers, which are final.

Awarded prize does not include delivery.
This contest complies with all federal and provincial laws and is void where prohibited.
