Dr. Goldberg is the chief surgeon and Medical Director for the Goldberg Centre for Vision Correction and Cosmetic Surgery. Founded in 1991, the eye care services and vision correction has expanded to include Radial Keratotomy (RK), Laser Thermal Keratoplasty, Automated Lamellar Keratoplasty (ALK), Photo refractive Keratectomy (PRK), LASIK eye surgery and now LASEK. The Goldberg Centre also offers a full range of cosmetic surgeries, skincare and anti-aging treatments including, Botox Cosmetic, and soft tissue fillers, (Restylane, Perlane,Artecoll and Evolence), laser skin care treatments including, Blu U for acne, Photodynamic Therapy (PDT), Blepharoplasty (Upper and Lower Eyelid Surgery), laser hair removal and a full range of spa treatments. Dr. Goldberg has worked with over 100,000 patients to provide state-of-the-art visual and cosmetic needs.
In 1976 Dr. Goldberg graduated from the faculty of medicine, and completed his Ophthalmology residency in 1981 both at the University of Toronto.
| He trained under Dr. Jean Carruthers, ophthalmologist, who went on to discover the Cosmetic use for Botox.
Dr. Goldberg is currently on active staff at Rouge Valley Health System, Centenary Hospital; a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada; a diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology; a member of the Ontario Medical Association; and The Contact Lens Association of Ophthalmologists and The International Academy of Sportsvision.
He’s recognized as a leading expert in facial cosmetic surgery, eye care and LASEK vision correction and is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Toronto and many public service organizations; on Toronto’s TALK 640 call-in radio show, “Focus on Vision; featured and quoted in national publications as one of Toronto’s top cosmetic surgeons; and appeared on The Rogers TV, Day Time Show, Global TV, and City TV's Breakfast Television.
