Tracey Phillips has been the Director, Pharmacy Services & Marketing with Katz Group Canada Ltd since early 2007. In this capacity, Tracey is responsible for the professional programs and services, practice initiatives and strategic direction of Canada’s largest retail pharmacy network. Tracey provides support and direction to both Corporate and Independent member pharmacists - nationwide. Tracey graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto in 1990. She has always enjoyed the challenge and fast pace of community pharmacy and has held numerous Pharmacy Manager positions. In 1998 she founded TPhillips Pharmacy Consultants; specializing in the development and facilitation of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for both Pharmacists and Physicians. Tracey joined Katz Group Canada in 2002 as the Director of Pharmacy Operations. Returning to U of T in 2006, Tracey completed the Executive MBA program at the Rotman School of Management. | Very active in her professional field, Tracey has served on a number of committees at The Ontario Pharmacists Association (OPA), The Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) and spent several years as President of the Metropolitan Toronto Pharmacists’ Association (MTPA). She currently represents the pharmacists of the Toronto area as their elected member of Council and Chairs the Quality Assurance committee of OCP. Tracey is the proud recipient of numerous awards for pharmacy practice and most recently the Dean’s Academic Award for Women Managers from the Rotman School of Management. Tracey has previously appeared on the Life Network’s HealthWatch TV, Slice Network’s Doctor in the House and is regularly interviewed on television, in print and on the radio.
